The ease of use and interactive nature of DesignWorks has made it a very popular package for teaching digital design at sites throughout the world. For this reason we offer a number of special arrangements for educational users of our products.

LogicWorks in Education

LogicWorks is the student version of DesignWorks and is the number one choice for teaching and learning digital circuit design. It features the same powerful, interactive simulation capability as DesignWorks, but with simplified controls and a greatly reduced price. It has some circuit size, library and reporting limitations that make it unsuitable for FPGA design, board-level design or other cases where large designs or industry-standard outputs are required.

LogicWorks is sold exclusively to students and educational institutions through Prentice Hall Publishing. We do not sell LogicWorks directly. For more information see our LogicWorks Web Site.
